Don’t you just love it when something good happens?

Last week, a close friend told me about a colleague, a young mother, quietly doing the work of looking after her own wellbeing and having real conversations with her little one about emotions. Then came the part that made me pause: she’s written a book, “you have to read it Ton”

As someone who writes myself, I was curious.

Lauren, your book for Arlo is thoughtful and bold. Using a rainbow as a narrative to talk about emotions and health? Simple, but powerful. It opens a door for children, yes, but also for all of us carrying stories we’re not always invited to tell.

For women of the global majority, accessing the right support for our mental health isn’t always straightforward. Too many of us are left navigating pain in silence. So, when I see a sister creating something that bridges that gap, I celebrate.

Well done, Lauren. I see your strength, your intention, and your joy. And I honour it.

 Mummy and the Hidden Rainbow

A heart-led children’s book that opens up conversations about emotions, well-being, and connection.

This story really made me think. In our time, when everyone is rushing somewhere, it is very valuable to see examples of people who not only take care of themselves but also teach children to understand and live with their own emotions. I was particularly impressed by the fact that this mother wrote a book — it is not just an act of creativity, but also a way to share important experiences with others. As someone who is also interested in self-development, health, and balance, I decided to explore similar approaches to self-care a little deeper. While searching for useful materials, I came across a very informative article on the website https://ways2well.com/blog/stem-cell-for-scoliosis-innovative-treatments-for-spinal-health .
